The University of Brescia offers a wide range of educational programs with Bachelor and Master of Science (MSc) degrees, postgraduate technical courses, specialization schools, and Ph.D. programs in most areas: business and economics, engineering and technology, law, medicine and surgery, and dentistry. In 2024 it offers 28 undergraduate Degree programs, 27 postgraduate, and 12 Doctoral Degree programs.
The University of Brescia aims at enhancing research and addressing the educational needs of the European and global communities, by promoting collaboration and integration. The University of Brescia promotes initiatives aimed at internationalization, European and international exchange agreements, and cooperation programs to encourage student and researcher mobility. The result is a good choice of double degree study programs, courses taught in English, and international summer schools, together with highly-recognized scientific research and important international awards. At present, the University of Brescia counts around 260 active financed research projects, 43 international and 220 nationally funded projects. Among the European ones, 25 projects were funded within the 7th Framework Programme and 27 within Horizon 2020. The University participated in various European programs such as Horizon Europe, COST actions, LIFE, Erasmus+, Justice Programme, CERV, EU4Health and is currently participating in 13 projects within Horizon Europe. The University is Host Institution of an ERC-2019 Starting Grant and an ERC-2021-Consolidator Grant .
The mission of the University of Brescia is to focus our activities on the health and wealth of people in the surrounding environment, through the integration of cultural and scientific areas which are the hallmark of our University, and the collaboration with the vibrant system of enterprises, especially in the areas of manufacturing, mechatronics and biotechnologies, digital economy, law, and innovation. Politecnico di Milano’s Career Service supports students throughout their studies and after graduation, offering career guidance and strong connections with the world of work. Each year, more than 200 companies take part in on-campus Job Fairs, while weekly on-campus and online events allow students to interact directly with employers.
